13- the biography of the Prophet
Studying the
biography of the Prophet is a matter of importance to every Muslim
Following the
example of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, through
knowing his personality, deeds and sayings
And the Muslim
earns the love of the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, and develops
and blesses it
He learns about the lives of the honorable
companions who struggled with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant
him peace
It clearly
shows that he was a husband, a father, a leader, a warrior, a ruler, a
politician, an educator, a preacher, an ascetic, and a judge.
Scholars find
in it what helps them to understand the Book of God Almighty. Because it is the
exegesis of the Noble Qur’an in the practical aspect, as it contains the
reasons for its revelation, and the interpretation of many verses, so it helps
them to understand them, deduce from them, and live with their events.
The merchants
draw from it the purposes, systems and methods of trade
And the afflicted learn from it the highest
levels of patience and steadfastness, so their resolve to walk the path of the
call of Islam is strengthened and their confidence in God Almighty is
magnified, and they are certain that the outcome is for the righteous.
The nation
learns from it high morals, good morals, sound beliefs, correct worship, lofty
morals, purity of the heart, love of jihad in the cause of God, and seeking
martyrdom in His cause.
That is why Ali Ibn Al-Hassan said: “We used to teach the Prophet’s missions, as we
would teach a surah from the Qur’an.”
