The goals of Muslim
The goals of
people in this life
confused and
delusional
They say
Life is not but our worldly life - we die
and live, but we will not be resurrected.
Desires before it is too late
God has said in the Qur’an
Beautified for people is the love of that
which they desire - of women and sons, heaped-up sums of gold and silver, fine
branded horses, and cattle and tilled land. That is the enjoyment of worldly
life, but Allah has with Him the best return
spoiling On the earth
And of the people is he
whose speech pleases you in worldly life, and he calls Allah to witness as to
what is in his heart, yet he is the fiercest of opponents
The goals of Muslim
God has said in the Qur’an
And of the people is he
who sells himself, seeking means to the approval of Allah. And Allah is kind to
[His] servants
Yes, this is the goal ... to live in
this universe and your goal is to please God Almighty
Things that lead to
the pleasure of God Almighty

O
you who have believed, bow and prostrate
·
and
worship your Lord and do good - that you may succeed
And strive for Allah with the
striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the
religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah
named you "Muslims" before [in former scriptures] and in this
[revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be
witnesses over the people. So establish prayer and give zakah and hold fast to
Allah. He is your protector; and excellent is the protector, and excellent is
the helper
Characteristics of a Muslim’s
purpose
The purpose of the prophets and
messengers(1)
Moses, peace be upon him, said
I hastened to You, my Lord, that
You be pleased
2The legitimate purpose only
accepts legitimate means, so the method must be in accordance with the law of
God
So whoever would hope
for the meeting with his Lord - let him do righteous work and not associate in
the worship of his Lord anyone Therefore,
the divine Muslim, whom God has sought and pleases,
investigates the means The pure kindness to achieve thisThe end As for the
materialists, because their goals are material and revolve around personal
benefits, they do not refrain from conducting and using any means that reach
their goals, even if it is despicable and illegitimate.
3A precious goal and its path
is difficult
God has said in the Qur’an
Indeed, Allah has purchased from the
believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will
have Paradise
(4) A goal that is
guaranteed to achieve
Our goal is achieved by mere pursuit and
without a link to an outcome that occurs or a goal that is achieved as long as
the action is pure and correct. That is, this goal is achieved by simply
pursuing it ... without any connection to the achievement of any apparent goals
These are the companions of the
Messenger of God, may God’s
prayers and peace be upon him, who were martyred on the sands of Mecca .. under
the whips of torture and did not witness the conquest of Islam and the
establishment of his state as Mrs. Sumaya and her husband Yasser, the first
martyr of Islam
(5) A fixed and single goal
A person in this world may have aspirations
and goals .. but keep all of this small and insignificant in addition to that
great thing .. to reach the goal and win it.
If it is permissible ... it is necessary not
to crowd out the goal in the heart of the believer, and not to enslave his
heart and control himself so that it does not serve as a corrupt goal ..
corrupts the heart and perishesIts owner
Therefore, the Holy Prophet warned of this by
saying: “The
wretched servant of the dirham, the miserable servant of the dinar, the
miserable servant of the woman
(6) A goal that is consistent with the laws of
the whole universe
the whole universe is subject to God, is given
to him, praised by His praise and is directed to Him, when the Muslim acts for
that purpose He joins this universe subject to God and whoever recites these
verses will become clear to him
So is it other than the
religion of Allah they desire, while to Him have submitted [all] those within
the heavens and earth, willingly or by compulsion, and to Him they will be
returned
Deviation from the goal
Activity in work openly and laziness
away from it
Love of praise and pleasure in it and fear of
slander and contraction
Looking for prominence and concern for
the emirate
Diminishing others, catching mistakes, and
touching faults
Too much talk, controversy, and too little
work
Too much excuses and hesitation
Stumbling, falling, and depriving the
reward
the means that help
him to achieve his goal and win the pleasure of his Lord
Sincerity
Always renewing the intention and reviewing
your goal in life
to make God the goal, ask yourself what is my
goal in this life
Be a man with a thousand men
